Our Herd

Meet the Party Crew

Seven trained, social horses who have been to hundreds of events. Mini horses are the heart of every pony party — meet the crew.

Lainey the miniature horse

Lainey

Sweet and social. First to greet guests, last to leave the crowd. She loves being brushed.

Leia — newest member of the Tribal Cowboy herd New!

Leia

Lainey's daughter and our newest herd member. She arrived this spring and already has the whole crew wrapped around her hoof.

Monster the white miniature horse

Monster

His name is big but he's anything but scary. Monster is the white fluffy showstopper kids line up to hug.

Minimus the tiny miniature horse

Minimus

Tiny, fluffy, and completely unfazed by crowds, balloons, or birthday candles. The tiniest member of the herd.

Master Chief the miniature horse

Master Chief

Steady and confident. Master Chief is the calm anchor of the herd — always composed, always ready.

Dolly the miniature horse mare

Dolly

Gentle and curious. Dolly is especially patient with toddlers and kids who approach slowly. A natural with little ones.

Reba the appaloosa horse

Reba

The beauty of the herd. Reba's spotted coat stops people in their tracks. She knows it and enjoys every second.

What Families Are Saying

"My daughter's 6th birthday was absolutely perfect. The ponies were so gentle, and Stacie's team handled everything. I didn't worry about a single thing the whole time."

"I've thrown a lot of birthday parties. This was the first one where every single child — and every single adult — was completely enchanted the entire time. Minimus alone was worth it."

JR
Jessica R.

"Tribal Cowboy showed up early, cleaned up completely, and the photos were in everyone's hands before the cake was even cut. My niece is still talking about Lainey six months later."

Common Questions

We serve Kootenai County and surrounding areas including Spokane, WA. Travel fees apply for locations more than 30 miles from Athol, ID. Contact us with your zip code for a travel estimate.
A flat grassy or gravel area roughly 20×20 feet works well. We can also set up in a large driveway or open parking area. We don't need a barn or stall — we bring everything.
Yes. Our minis are calm around children of all ages, including toddlers and infants. A trained handler is present at all times and manages every interaction. We've had children as young as 6 months at our events.
We monitor forecasts closely. Light rain isn't a problem — horses don't mind it. For heavy rain, lightning, or extreme weather, we'll reschedule at no extra charge. We build weather flexibility into every booking agreement.
Spring and summer dates fill 6–8 weeks out. Fall and winter are more flexible. We occasionally have last-minute availability, so it's always worth asking even if your date is soon.
Guests with horse allergies should consult their doctor before attending. The minis are groomed before every event, but we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment. We recommend sensitive guests enjoy the ponies from a comfortable distance.
